Eta Sigma Wins FIRST Place!!!
As one of the nine sensational members of The Sigma Squad, I want to announce to my sorors that Eta Sigma Chapter of Atlanta, Georgia won FIRST PLACE in the 6th Annual All-Alumni Step Show sponsored by the Stone Mountain-Lithonia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta. We also won the overall award for the Most Crunk Performance. Overall includes sororities and fraternities.
It was a shock to win that show, but all the months of hard work, practice, determination, and more paid off big.
Trust me when I say that if Atlanta didn't know about Sigma Gamma Rho before March 31, they sho'nuff know now.

Shoutout to Soror Jubi for RHOad tripping to see her Atlanta sorors win the show!

Congrats! The SMLAC Step Show has gained a reputation as being a premier competition. So I know y'all had to be great to win it. I am happy for you.

Thanks for the congrats!!!
Honestly, the biggest compliment of the night for me came when a member of another sorority told me, "You represented for the big girls!" That was my for every practice. For those that don't know me, I was in the front in the "fly" scene with a big smile on my face.

I don't have any pics  , but I'll ask sorors when I go to our Exec Board meeting. How about that...? 7 of the 9 step team members are officers and/or committee chairs. Hadn't thought of it.... I'll ask about a video, too.
Funny thing: I went to the gym yesterday and saw an Alpha I went to school with. We hugged and chatted. He looked at my T-shirt and realized that he had heard Sigma won, but then he recalled hearing a morning show host say that another org won.  The sad part is that the host was a judge at the show. I had to call the station this morning to politely but excitedly correct the news. If you're thinking I'm gonna milk this win for all it's worth, then you're right.

Congrats Sorhors and we need pictures because I'm a visual learner! I hope someone posted the video on youtube.com because we want to enjoy the show from a distance!
