Jean Mermoud Mrasek, S.H. (National President)
Jean was initiated at Epsilon Gamma Chapter, The University of Tulsa, where she served as President and Recruitment Chairman. Her honors included membership in Mortar Board and Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) as well as Top Ten Senior recipient. She earned a B.A. degree in Advertising/Public Relations and M.A. degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Jean worked for the University of Tulsa in the positions of Admission Counselor, Assistant Dean of Admission, and Senior Admission Representative. Additionally, she worked in the Tulsa area as an Organizational Development Consultant.
Immediately after college, Jean traveled for Chi Omega as a National Representative. She has continued to serve Chi Omega on the national level in a number of capacities, including Firesides/Convention staff and Chi Omega's Delegation to NPC. As Chi Omega's First Alternate Delegate to NPC, Jean held leadership positions as Chairman of the NPC Unanimous Review Committee, NPC Area Advisor Coordinator for Mid-America, and Chairman of the NPC Extension Committee. She has made numerous consulting visits to collegiate Panhellenics in her region of responsibilities. On the local level, Jean served as chapter advisor to Epsilon Gamma. She has belonged to the Tulsa Alumnae chapter and is currently a member of the Dallas Alumnae Chapter. Jean has been active in the Junior League in both cities.
In Southlake, Texas, where she and her family reside, Jean is an active member of the Episcopal Church and involved with the PTO at her children's schools. Jean and her husband, Michael Mrasek, have three children, Allison, Nicholas and Elizabeth.
