Question Would you tell?

Hi Ladies,

I'm new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I'm msmonique and I came across this forum and love the vibe here.

I've been busy reading some of the new and older posts and they have been very entertaining and informative.

I wanted to ask a specific question and get the opinions of some of the memberfriends of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. I could not find a topic similar to this when I did a search.

I've recently relocated back to a city where I submitted for membership and was NOT invited to participate in the MIP. This was over 10 years ago.

Since moving back, I was introduced to a chapter member who has invited me to help out with a long-term volunteer project that her chapter is involved with. You can't imagine my delight! I definitely thanked God for this opportunity since I pretty much had to start from scratch regarding my quest for membership since moving back.

The question is: Should I mention to her that I had submitted to the chapter over 10 years ago?

My concern is that I don't want to appear dishonest by omitting this information in my conversations with her about my interest.

Please feel free to email me if this can't be addressed on the forum.

Thanks in advance for your replies.
