Changing fields?
Ok, this is a two part question.
1. If you had to leave your current job, would you like to try something new or stay in the same field?
2. What is more important: being able to do the job (even if it isn't your "dream" job) or a significant salary increase?
I am being downsized next month and am trying to find a new job. I don't want to go to a pr agency (i'd rather be corporate) and just saw an opportunity at Wayne State in a program coordinator capacity. The hiring minimum is $12,000 more than what I make right now.
