				Mom/son wedding dance song?

What was the song at your wedding for the groom and his mother? I've been looking online and some are so random and make no sense. Daddy/Daughter songs are much easier to come by.

Everyone uses "Mama" by Boys II Men down here. It's a tearjerker.

Although we're not married yet, I think my fiance is going to use "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts. Of course he hasn't been too helpful in the music dept.

At my wedding, my mom and I danced to "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. I agree, though, that it was tough to figure out a good song.

There's a local group called Na Leo and they have a wonderful song called You Don't Remember that moms and sons like to dance to at weddings.

Lately, I've been seeing some awful ones around here, it's really disappointing that people ignore the standards. Stuff like "Touch My Body" by Mariah Carey should be on the short list.
Also, "Tears in Heaven" by Clapton.

We did combined mother/son father/daughter dance (so people would only have to sit through one dance) to Unforgettable. I think.

I always recommend going with something mom likes--I was at a wedding where the mom and son danced to Kenny Rogers' Through the Years because she was a huge Kenny Rogers fan.

My FI and his mom are dancing to "In My Life" by the Beatles. He asked his mom what she wanted and she just picked silly songs like, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight." Google mother son wedding songs. I found a few sites that had pages of songs with links to them so you could actually hear them.

If you're Italian and your mother is Italian, you pretty much have no choice. Le Mamme by Toto Cutogno. If you know the language, it's a really pretty song. I'm pretty sure it's all about what mothers do for you and all that.

Back in the day, the common one was Three Times a Lady by Lionel Ritchie.

OTW I just clicked on that song and now I'm sobbing into my coffee. He's my firstborn and only son so I know I'm going to be a weepy mess out on the dance floor. That is a gorgeous song.

I will have to check out OTW's suggestion when I get home since my work computer doesn't stream worth a darn.
