The husband and I had a really nice Pinot Noir from California one night and I can't for the life of me remember what it was. I usually prefer white over red, but now I'm starting to enjoy a nice glass of red every once in a while.

Rex Goliath makes a really solid pinot noir in the $6-7 range, and Stonehedge makes a quite solid bottle at about $10-11, both Cali central coast IIRC.
