I think that’s awesome being able to have those kinds of deep conversations with your kids, Dee. Honestly, that kind of bond is something most people dream of, and it’s rare.
And I really do hope they’re right. I hope this case becomes a turning point. You’re right, there are smart, passionate people speaking out, and they matter. They’re often the ones holding the line when everything else starts to slip.
But I’ve learned that the truth doesn’t always surface on its own. Sometimes it gets hidden, or twisted, or drowned out by noise. History is full of truths that never saw daylight, not because they weren’t important, but because people gave up looking, or stopped listening.
