What, you ask, was so all-important that the boss had to stay home and basically force someone to come into work who should have been at home with her family?
SHE HAD PEOPLE AT HER HOUSE HELPING HER SEW COSPLAY COSTUMES.

I must say, I've been doing Renaissance stuff for awhile now, and there is some crossover between genres, but I still really don't "get" cosplay. I just don't.
