I'm so sick of skinny-bashing.
The phrase came into popularity to counteract the societal fixation with being ultra-thin (which I think is way more present in the media than in real life), but has led to more negativity than positivity. If a woman is very thin either by nature or, unfortunately, an eating disorder, telling her she is "not a real woman" is probably one of the most spiteful and damaging messages you could send.
Word, son.

It generally bothers me that skinny bashing is completely socially acceptable.

Ex: It's cool to tell me to "eat a sandwich." If I were to tell someone who was overweight that they "need to put that sandwich down" or "eat a salad" it's OMGWTFBBQ11!!!!

See also: "Do you EVER eat?"

I'm tempted to answer that with "Only on Tuesdays" and see what people say.
