Assuming that we are talking about NPC sororities...
If she dislikes her chapter, her sisters and her sorority experience THAT much, it's very unlikely she'll get involved as an alum, unless she is lucky enough to land in an alumnae chapter that is willing to listen to her bitch about her collegiate chapter, her sisters, and her sorority experience.
At smaller schools with smaller chapters, not everyone can find a niche in every group. That's just the way it is. If she was that miserable, she was right to depledge. "Stick it out for two years" is something you should say about trying times at your job, not your sorority.
