Gotcha. I just didn't understand where you were coming from.
I'm guessing there is an overall reluctance to report things to the police as they'll just use it as an excuse to be even more up the Greek system's ass than they already are. People self-police to avoid that involvement. However, if somone threw a freaking APPLIANCE at me, screw that, I'm calling the cops.
