I made some lovely fingerless gloves with baby alpaca, which I believe my kitty has taken since he has a yarn addiction and a soft things (socks mostly) fetish. I haven't seen them in a week. I do magic loop and it makes gloves and socks go so much faster because I don't suffer from second sock syndrome. You should dig out your needles so you can knit and also have pointy things to stab people. We could totally do the Special Olympics Red Heart scarf as a knit-a-long since Red Heart is low cost, if you dig your needles out I will buy the yarn for you with my JoAnns or Michaels coupon.

This was my first time working with real wool and not acrylic and it was awesome. Not alpaca awesome but awesome. After my friend's wedding I may dig out/rebuy things. And you're too nice, I've never done a knit-a-long before
. I can totally buy my own, especially red heart for a project.

ETA: Oh wait, no I have one of those, I've just not knitted in the round on it yet. The fingerless gloves I'm making get stitched up the side.
