Bless your heart dear, look at the quoted part. At
Memphis they are not allowed to go out in letters. At my school it was a
campus panhellenic rule. What the other posters are trying to tell you is that rules such as not going out in letters and no smoking are campus and chapter specific. It may seem to you that everyone has these rules because they are pretty common in the south, but that is more of a regional/ tradition thing. I have read the DDD bylaws completely and there is no rule that saws we cannot drink or smoke in our letters. I choose not to because that was our campus rule and old habits die hard. Please think before you decide to argue and antagonize the posters here. As a PNM you really have no idea what you are talking about, even if your mother is greek. You need to just sit back, read the helpful advice on this site, and be quiet. There are many southern sorority alumnae and actives that post on and read this site. You would hate to say something that could damage your recruitment.
