Last year approximately 1200 PNMs signed up for recruitment at the University of Arizona. What she said. As a sophomore you will be at a big disadvantage and a shortened party schedule will hurt you even more. I know it isn't fair, but you should try your hardest to find an alternative to working then. You have a couple of months to make alternate plans.
