What if you say "please wear nice flared jeans - as an example, the Sweetheart style at Old Navy" and everyone happens to go out and get the same thing (the Sweetheart style at Old Navy)? How can they bust you for that? I mean, I remember us all wearing (not for rush, just in general) the same sweater from the same store in different colors. On any given night I think at least 5 of us had it on.
