I'm actually one of the founding members when Kappa Nu colonized in Spring 2006 and the reason our house is separate from the other 4 main sorority townhomes (Alpha Xi Delta, Pi Beta Phi, Alpha Phi, Alpha Chi Omega) is mostly due to the fact that those 4 have been present on Marquette's campus loooong before the administration decided to bring in a new sorority. So the 4 townhomes that are all next to each other have actually been under contract with the landlord for quite awhile and there just wasn't any available room on that area for a new sorority house. We didn't get our house until Fall 2006, and IMO, I love the fact that our's is separate from the others and also definitely looks different than the standard townhome look of the others. If you want to get a glimpse of what the Kappa Nu house looks like...
www.sigmakappamu.org has a photo up of the front of the house.
I'm not sure if you noticed, but the fraternity houses on Marquette's campus are also pretty spread out, so those 4 sororities bunched together are the only ones.
