I read the previous posts and saw the no-no on namedropping, but what about mentioning an active in general? For example, if my good friend Susie Smith was in ABC, could I mention (at ABC's recruitment event) how Susie told me about her personal Greek experience which convinced me to consider the recruitment events?

Thanks again for this thread!
**If your school has a smallish recruitment, they may already know that. I know that we always happened to know who girls were from recruitment, because there were only like 150 PNMs total.

**If someone asked you how you decided to check out ABC, it's okay to say "Well Suzie was in my class (or whatever) and she told me about..." but I wouldn't go on and on.
