Badge attire is business casual, which, in my mind, includes dress pants/capris, skirts, more professional looking dresses, blazers, sweaters, cardigans, button-downs, etc. No denim, chinos, cords.

I agree with this. Preference is usually dressier than what someone would wear to chapter.
