I'm so excited to be involved with my chapter again this year as a facility corp. board member & secretary, and recruitment/membership & panhellenic advisor to my chapter. I picked Panhellenic because I want to hear/know about what everyone else on campus is doing too not just my chapter

I think that needing a break is pretty common. I did the same thing and after a 10 year hiatus of settling into a career, getting married, etc., I was ready to step back into the sorority as an adviser and help out again. That is one of the wonderful things about alumnae status, you can get as involved as you want to be. After 4 years of living life for my sorority, it is nice to now fit it into my availability instead of working my schedule around it.
