I agree! If anything, it has helped w/ recruitment. I can't tell you how many times I have heard PNMs talk about a book or movie and asked if we did the same things. I will be the first to say that many of the things being said about greek life are
true. The problem is that is only illustrates small, dramatic, yet interesting minority... i.e. drinking, parting, hazing. Honestly, I don't think a movie would be all that interesting if they showed sorority girls excelling in their classes, doing community service, donating money to their universities, etc...
Now I do have a problem using established organizations w/o thier consent, in these movies, tv shows, etc.
