The Pike house was across the street from ours (and the Phi Mu house was next to the Pike House). Well, the Pikes didn't want to pay a cable bill, so they had run a cable from their house to the Phi Mu house. I guess it had been there for several years before it was discovered. Anyway, once it was discovered the Phi Mu's corporation board refused to let the Pike's continue to steal their cable, so in the middle of the night, a bunch of Pikes decided to run a cable across the street to our house. Since it had to go across the street, it had to be elivated, so it was pretty funny to see these guys try and string the cable (and yes, dangerous, but we were college kids and invinceable). I assume it has since been discovered, but I remember going back to Athens in 1999 and the fat black cable (that didn't look too professional) was still strung across the street.
One that I wasn't part of but I always thought was inapropriate but funny-- we have a song "It Only Takes A Spark"- well during retreat they did a fake pinning circle only instead of passing a candle they passed a condom that was blown up like a balloon and sang "It Only Takes One Sperm" and then someone popped the condom with a pin.
