I am breaking my silence to say that I would appreciate it if you (and others) would stop insulting me. You wonder why I'm not "getting" what you all have been trying to say to me. I'm not "getting it" because most of you all keep serving your advice with insults and condescention. So, no, I'm not going to "get it" when it's clear that your motives are not good.
I don't need special education. I have already asked you all to leave me alone, and I would do likewise. And in good faith I walked away. But, you all just won't let it go. That speaks more to where your (the collective your) mentalities are than mine. Not being sarcastic or going tit-for-tat, that's just real talk. I'm just saying.
I don't want to end this on bad terms with anyone (we don't have to be pals, just agree to disagree, and move on with no hard feelings), because even though I miss the mark sometimes, I am a Christian and serious about my relationship with Jesus - and EVERYTHING I do, no matter
where it's done, reflects on me as a Christian and has an effect and an affect on my testimony. My flesh has wanted me to show my you-know-what MANY times during all of this, but while I was firm and not backing down in my replies,
none of you can say that I responded to your personal attacks/insults on me by personally attacking/insulting you back. Yes, I was sarcastic and made a whole lot of smart-alecky comments, but never did I once personally insult any of you like you have me.
And, if any of you can show me where I have done so, I will apologize and MEAN it. In the meantime, all of this needs to end. It has to stop, now. It's not making ANY of our organizations look good, and with all the lurkers on GC who knows how many people this whole thing has turned off and dissuaded from pursuing membership (or even more info)? My org is still in early infancy, and really not off the ground yet, so that won't hurt it; but that cannot be said for the established NPHC orgs whose members have taken part, in what could be perceived as negative ways, in this whole debacle. You all say you love your orgs, well if for no other reason than that being true, all this needs to stop, because it isn't presenting any of our orgs in their best light.
Everybody, just please leave it be.
