I have to say that this is the first time I've ever heard of not being able to wear letters if you're inactive in a friendly way - i.e. if you're not full time, etc - but apparently Stef doesn't have a problem with it, so that's her business.
And if someone was being lazy with payment and not making GPA and not showing up to things - she should be terminated, and she should return all lettered items to the chapter. She didn't live up to her end of the contract, therefore she doesn't get to keep wearing letters.

It's kind of a weird situation, actually--I wasn't academically eligible either because I have a lot of incomplete work from last semester, so that may be the reason I can't wear letters more than anything. My GPA last semester was a big ole I. Half-time status here means that I couldn't participate even if I appealed the academic part with student activities.
BID--my point to the OP was that there are usually specific officers in the chapter who deal with people violating those kinds of rules.
