Yeah, its true. The only people who can send alcohol through the mail are companies (ie- you can order someone a wine from a vineyard). Okay - that sucks! Especially since, if UPS had an inkling of what was inside, they should have just returned it to the sender versus helping themselves to the stock & repackaging it.
I had no idea this was against the law - glad that I have no one I care enough about to send them alcohol (except you, DolphinChica - I would send you the best Pineapple Wine in the world if I could - you know, 99ers privilege and all
