Desperate for Recruitment Ideas
Hey everyone! My chapter does recruitment in the fall (so its coming up quite rapidly) On our first day we use a game to help stimulate conversation, about 1/2 of our girls use it. Well we used to do this question game, but a lot of the questions are canned and lots of houses use them. I'm trying to think of some sort of game to make starting conversation easy while being unique!
HELP PLEASE :) |
Just type up questions (and cut each down to a tiny strip, like a fortune cookie) and put them in little decorated buckets or containers on the table, have everyone pick one and discuss. This way you have control over the questions and you can make silly ones, fun ones, semi-serious ones, and it gives you the flexibilty to avoid any sensitive topics. (For example, you draw a question about parents with a PNM whose mom died, you can easily pretend you drew a different question)
It's not that different from what you're doing, but it will avoid the canned questions, and make them more personal to your sisters and the PNMS. |
Here's three books you might find helpful....we make all of our employees read after we hire them (I own a service business and the ability to converse with clients and generate referrals is critical.) The books are probably in the public library or at Nolopress.com
