Just a lil help please!!!
 

I am a person of extreme intrest in DST. I have read In Search of Sisterhood, The Divine Nine and i have visited the Schomberg library in Harlem, NY to read Shaped to its Purpose. I have been to every informational and every event that your sorors have held at my school, but I feel like something is missing. I am on a first name basis with the current members of the chapter and we talk ocassionally when we see each other (hi, how was class, how was your day, those sort of things). I am very shy when it comes to meeting new people and i had to step out of my comfort zone to even approach the members. I am now wondering what more can I do??:confused: I know that my intrest is known because a soror and I have had a brief convo. They asked why i never called but i dont know what i would say!!. They also told me i could know all the info about the org but if i didnt now the chapter members what good would it do. So i guess my ultimate question is how should a shy person go about getting to know chapter members??

Talk to the chapter members like they are...*gasp*...people. Be respectful and don't be stalkerish. Anxiety in situations such as this is normal so welcome to life. ;) You will figure out the rest as you go along.
