"flu-like symptoms"?!
 

OK.. this is completely random.. but with all this West-Nile stuff going around this summer.. I can't help but ask... What exactly are "flu-like symptoms"?!

I have heard of lots of viruses and stuff that have "flu-like symptoms"... so it is sneezing.. fever.. or?! :confused:

I'm pulling this out of you-know-where, but I always assumed "flu-like symptoms to mean:

• muscle ache/pain
• nausea
• fever
• weakness

etc.

Or at least, that's how I feel when I have the flu...

I really wish the news stations would pick another topic to scare people with... There are so much better things to live in fear of.. Terrorists bringing nukes and chemical weapons to the US... War with Iraq or Pauley Shore making a comeback..

With the West Nile, they also head ache, neck ache and they say that a rash usually appears.
The high temp is a red flag for many things and should always be monitored.

No Sh*t... I got bit by one of those bad boys and I was paranoid that I was going to get WN for like a week. Yes I'm a dork... I need to find better things to do with my time.
