Frontier Fiesta
 

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you guys know that my school(the university of houston) is having Frontier Fiesta this weekend. I have never been but i heard it's pretty neat. They have live performances all weekend, the fraternities and sororities also perform, there is a bar-b-que cook-off and many more things!! It is also to promote the university's diversity. If any of you live or will be around the Houston area- i suggest you check it out!! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif Has anyone ever heard or been to it? I heard its the biggest college show ever!!

I used to go to the Frontier Fiesta in the fifties and sixties when I was a kid! We loved it! My cousin was DZ president and I can remember their "dance hall".

Hey hope you have fun. Sounds a lot like UBC's Arts County Fair. It's a big outdoor concert that starts around noon and goes til 9 at night, to celebrate the last day of classes. Before that there are tonnes of parties and bbqs all over the place. I can't believe it's next week http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/eek.gif! Anyways they have lots of entertainment and all the bands that play are Canadian and the headline band is usually a huge Canadian Band - this year it's Big Sugar.
