This sounds like a possibility. I mean, even if she was a virgin and truly naive, in this day and age you would #1 eventually see your husband naked in 17yrs (outside of a sexual context; just during normal married life.), #2 notice that you weren't the only person in the house having a period, #3 question why he always has to run to the bathroom just before or after sex or why you've never ever touched it. I just really can't imagine that you could be married to someone for 17 years (or hell even 17 days) and never see their penis with your own eyes.

I don't know about that. Naive might be a better descriptor. I'm sure some of our medical GCers could tell us crazy stories about people who are just that sheltered. I'm in school with quite a few nurses (heading into missions) who have told some almost unbelieveable stories of the lack of knowledge of some of their patients. And, surprising, a patient's age isn't a barrier to naivete.

My aunt is a doctor who worked a stint at a free clinic for a few years and she told me some unbelievable stories about some of the pregnant women who came in.
