i'm at work today. a sunday, but the newspaper must come out every dang day. anyway i just looked on the cnn web site and i was so shocked. i didn't even know that he had cancer. it's just so sad that he was 57. so young and so talented. may his soul rest in peace and his spirit live on.. he could tap his butt off... and don't forget that he did sing a little.

I heard about his death while listening to the radio on my way to pick apples and peaches. He was a very talented actor and dancer on stage and screen. He will be missed, but his work and accomplishments will live on for future generations

When I used to tap, Gregory Hines was the best.
He'll be missed. He did a lot of good for dance in his life - bringing it to people who would have never thought it was interesting. He'll be missed :( |

This really makes me sad. I think he is probably the greatest dancer since Fred Astaire. We will miss him.:(
|
He was a terrific dancer. Not only did he have talent, but he also looked like he enjoyed performing. Such a natural.

How sad :( Entertainment has really been losing some of its best lately.

I heard about it last night when I got back from my trip. Last time I saw Gregory Hines, he was on "Law and Order". He will be missed.:(
