Maybe I should try this. I can't seem to meet any men on the outside.... JUST KIDDING!
But just in case, do they have e-mail? Jail dudes make some funny a$$ penpals. They write the craziest stuff! |
This is TOOOOOO FUNNY!!!! CTFU.
Dude is pretty buff though.... *lol* Oh yeah, and to those that have friends locked up...DON'T SEND HIM A PICTURE OF YOU WITH YOUR GIRLS!!!! One of my friends from college did that and in the next letter she received her from boy, it included letters for each of her firends in the picture!!! There were addressed like this: To the sistah on the right in the blue shirt.... *lol* |

For real though, I have known people that spent time on lockdown. No one that I was romantically linked to because you all know that the Diva doesn't roll with that circle! They write all this foolishness about how they are going to get their lives right and love their ladies better and treat their mama right , BUT GUESS WHAT?! One of my students has a boyfriend in a detention center and he wrote to her. For some reason, she thought it would be cool to let me read the letter. In two words, STRAIGHT COMEDY! :D |
But where is his blond hair???? Boo.
|
LOL @ "the classic jail pose" :D

I've actually had someone write me from jail and it wasn't funny at all. I don't have a clue how he even got my address. All of a sudden, I started getting letters from him telling me how much he missed me and he couldn't wait to celebrate our anniversary. WTF?!?! He was my friend's boyfriend in the ninth grade. I never dated him or anything and all of a sudden in 1999 he started sending me letters. At first, it was kind of funny since most of it rhymed and it was corny. Then, he started talking crazy. He started saying stuff how he'd hurt any guy I had been with and that I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with him. He told me that the next letter would be the proposal letter. He even drew me a diamond ring.
The craziest thing about this saga is that now he is writing one of my best friends (not the one he dated in 1991). Once again, she doesn't know how he knows where she stays, either. I have to admit that his poems are still hilarious but it's a little unsettling that he is writing about how she's supposed to be with him and how he'll take care of anyone who tries to hurt her. We've actually talked about whether she should get a restraining order against him when he gets out. I told her that for now she should just not open his letters, mark them 'Return to Sender, Addressee Unknown", and contact the jail to let them know that she is receiving unwanted letters from him. He just seems to wierd to take any chances with. |

OK, there is http://www.jailbabes.com
Now I was sitting here fooling around and I looked at a few profiles of the incarcerated BLACK men. There were 44 BLACK MEN nationwide. However there are 540 BLACK WOMEN nationwide. I know at first this was a comical thread, but there are 12 times more women than men. **SMH** oh and LADYGREEK, that HAIR COLOR was supposed to be the man's hair color but for some reason all of the Black men have BLONDE as their hair color. Their DATA ENTRY person screwed that up. Here are some INTERESTING profiles: http://www.jaildudes.com/profile.db?af=0&at=0&e=1&b=3 http://www.jaildudes.com/profile.db?...&e=1&b=70&s=10 (he is a time study analyst -- ) http://www.jaildudes.com/profile.db?...0&e=1&b=2&s=10 http://www.jaildudes.com/profile.db?...&e=1&b=65&s=20 http://www.jaildudes.com/profile.db?...&e=1&b=74&s=20 http://www.jaildudes.com/profile.db?...&e=1&b=67&s=40 |
Aww Damn...
I wasn't able to see this site until today.
I have a question: Now if these dudes are putting in their profile that they are the following: Calm Respectful Loving Friendly WTH are you in jail for??? I think they are just trying to pull some heartstrings here. One profile I looked at said: "I do love traveling and countrysides and oceans but may never see them again. Help - set me free." Umm. Naw man, can't do nuthin for you :o Unless you want somebody to DRAW those landscapes for you... ***edited*** Can somebody tell me WTF a sandblaster is? *SMH* |
You know I just saw Chicago...
...so maybe there are more women, because they "killed off" the men.
"I didn't do it..." Seriously, that stat is interesting. |

Thanks. That's what I thought, so he must operate this type of thing...
I've never heard anyone say "Yeah I do sandblasting for a living" :p |
more women than men?
maybe the resources in women's prisons are a factor as to why there are 500+ "jailbabes" and less than 50 "jaildudes"... or maybe the women (1) are more technologically adept or (2) are more comfortable putting their business all over the internet!

OK, did anyone read this week's Newsweek? The one with Beyonce, Star Jones, and Mellody Hobson ($$ expert) on the cover?? Well, if you have read the article and the round-table interview that follows, then you know what I'm talking about. In the interview, they had the three cover girls and Lil Kim and Terri Woods and Deborah Roberts at the table and Terri Woods made the comment that single black women should consider getting a man when he's coming out of prison. So...maybe someone should let her know about the website.
Ummm......how are these immates getting access to digital cameras and scanners and the Internet when in many states (like MI) school budgets are being slashed and the students and teachers are WISHING for things like this?? I don't seem to understand. |

PRISON SHOULD EQUAL PUNISHMENT, bottom line. If you want to rehabilitate, FINE but REHAB does not equal NIKES, STEAK. It means EDUCATION and COUNSELING. I had a cousin in Federal Prison who got to see PPV fights, eat steak, learned how to play tennis, etc. and my azz is struggling. |
HAAAAAAA...
Hey, I jsut thought of R. Kelly's profile:
Age: 35 Ethinity: Black Sex: with GIRLS younger than 18 Desciption: I would like a girl (no women with good sense need to reply) who wants me to tell her that she reminds me of my Jeep. For her to know that age is just a number (not according to laws of Illinois and Florida) and ain't nothing wrong with a lil Bump and Grind (as long as your parents and the cops don't find out). She has to at least be able to count to 12 (so we can play). Also she can't be camera shy! I want that "Honey love" and when I say that I love you "I Don't mean it". I want to feel on yo booty with my ignition key. Hit me up with your address of your junior high or high school so I can write back. I know that I am so wrong but... :p :D LaDeia "...create footsteps for others to follow..." - an old proverb |

What about those incarcerated men....
....who either are in jail for crimes they didn't commit or white collar crimes? Would they still be ineligible for your love?
Some men are in jail b/c they have been framed and legal technicalities prevented their rulings being innocent. Others are in jail b/c of embezzlement, "cooking the books", cyber-hacking, or insider trading. Would these individuals be marked for life like Hester Prynne as well? I can see it now. A white collar convict on his first day in prison with hardened criminals. One inmate asks, "What you in for, punk?!" White collar convict turns around slowly, with a Marlon Wayans-esque grimace on his face, and replies, "I said LOOK, [double-digit expletive]. Now I done hacked one computer website, and doggoneit, don't make me do it again, cause I will do it! Just 4 laughs, yall |
I am spending my Saturday night searching for a jail dude of my very own. :p I need a life. ;)

Florida has this little gick to compare people featured on the jail dude Web site:

I agree with both Eclipse and Steeltrap. I was actually quite shocked last week when Bamboozled said that. It just did not sound like her @ all. I would be more prone to date a white collar criminal who was framed than a drug dealer EVER. I have family members on drugs (as we all do), have folks in my family who sold drugs and was imprisoned, and the destruction of the family has been compounded by drug use and abuse. There are too many mothers crying over their kids' dying.
Drug dealing is a VERY BIG THING. Money is tight for a lot of people, but selling does not have to be the way out. Hayle, my money is TIGHT but I have not hooked up with anyone to sell drugs and further destroy the community, nor am I contemplating getting on stage shaking my AZZets. I just keep pressing and if it means working 2 jobs, so be it. My CONSCIENCE will be clear. |
Amen my sista Amen
|
Ya'll get an AMEN from me too. I am not down with folks who sell drugs. Yes, the economy sucks right now, but selling death and destruction to our children and our communities is not the way out. If you find yourself short on $$, get a second (or even third) job!!
