can it be the same "day" for weeks, and then when a holiday that would be in fact weeks or months later is celebrated the next day.

can you miss a month and somehow not be lost, but miss only a few days and be totally confused

do people never seem to work or go to school (but wait, a lot of primetime sitcoms are like this too)

are newborn babies the size of 1-year-olds

can people "die" and mysteriously come back to life

can someone totally hate someone and then suddenly be madly in love with that same person

can someone be known as the "town witch"

can a dummy turn into a vertically-challenged man

can total strangers have a one-night stand and then find out they're related

Does uttering the phrase "I've never been this happy! I think we're finally going to make it!" assure that your spouse/significant other will die a grisly and horrible death the next day.

...can gangsters be part of town society (aka Sonny on GH)

...can people turn green and be posed by Satan (aka Marlena on Days)

...are there no abortions, just timely "accidents" and miscarriages

...can everyone have permanent cell phone signals no matter where they are

...can people age to the point where they are older than other characters who were "born" before them (aka Billy, Colleen, Lily vs. Nate on Y&R)

...can people come back as a different character

...can people magically have a twin we've never heard about

I dunno but he is rather sexy/attractive for an old guy! And how come Nikki looks about as young as Victoria?!?! WTF!!!!

Only on Daytime can a character not be mentioned for years until about two weeks before they magically reappear in town when everyone is suddenly "reminiscing" :rolleyes:

only on daytime TV will they have almost an hourlong montage of reminicing for a character that "died"(only they didn't really die) but barely make mention/reminice when an actual actor dies (ex: days of our lives marlena "died" and they did they whole elaborate montage, but when macdonald carey died they barely did anything)

Can a woman give birth to TWO different daughters and have no memory of it!! (Viki on "One Life to Live"). I mean, she had Megan, who she didn't know was her daughter, then she had Natalie and Jessica (suposedly they are twins and she didn't know that she had both!). Who is this woman's OB/GYN??? How many other teenagers are running around Llanview related to this woman???:confused:

- Can people constantly talk to themselves and nobody thinks it's strange
- Can someone go into a 5 minute monologue in their own head.
- Can people who haven't been on in 10 years come back and expect people who weren't watching the show then to understand who the heck they are.
- Can "Aliens" really be genetically altered twin pawns of Stephano
- Can 1 person play 3 women and 1 man all at the same time
- Can a woman be pregnant for an entire year
- Can people return with amnesia and never find out what happened until 10 years later- Tony, Marlena, Hope, Greta, etc.
And my personal fav...
Can 2 kids who were 5 and 1 who was 13 all catch up to each other and be 16 over night, besides the 6 year old who turned 20 over night.

can your 3 year old daughter be the flower girl in your wedding and when you come back from your honeymoon shes 15(belle was the flowergirl in john & marlena's wedding, when they came back she was like 15 or 16)

can children age at extremely odd speeds to where they either all become the same age when they were originally several years apart, but not all of the kids the same age grow older (ex: sean d. was like 10 years older than belle, now they're the same age nd belle was only like a year older than will, but will never aged when the rest of the kids did)

Jen on OLTL is really pregnant. I heard everyone finds out that the baby isn't Christian's before they get married, though. The twin storyline with Natalie and Jessica is so riddiculous and I have a feeling it's about to get even more twisted. If I hear Viki say "How could I have not known that I was carrying two babies" or "Why did Allison Perkins switch twins?" one more time, I'm gonna lose it.

And only on daytime TV can you get invitro done and automatically be pregnant in the same day--Kerry (OLTL).

Only on daytime can you fall in love with the twin sister of your dead ex-girlfriend--Bianca (AMC).

Only on daytime can you marry a father and his two sons--Brooke (Bold and Beautiful)

Back in the late 80s/early 90s, I think she was involved in a boating accident or something. She was supposed to have been decapitated...but, due to the wonder of daytime, she was "cured" at a Swiss clinic and came back to Salem. I can't remember if she had amnesia or not. I think it might have been back when Roman and John Black both thought they were Roman.

Only on daytime can a man believe he's God's "Messenger" and then kill people and try to rape his daughter. (Mitch on OLTL)

Only on daytime do people have expendable cash and no apparent jobs...or at least jobs that they go to on a regular basis. (Exception: Y&R)

-Can mothers and daughters be married into the same family (does ANYONE else find Rebecca/Julian and Ethan/Gwen to be rather twisted? I know Ethan isn't a "real" Crane, but still- he'll always be a Crane to me! Mothers and daughters shouldn't be married into the same "family" -just too weird!)
-Can a man in his 50's get a teenage girl (madly in love with his son, mind you) SO drunk one night that she marries him, sleeps with him and eventually has his baby
-Can someone go from light skinned and chubby one day to dark skinned and super skinny the next day with no explanation (gotta love those actress changes on Passions! do they even TRY to get people who look alike? if so, they SUCK at it!)
