Today's not looking so good either. I'm trying not to be discouraged, but it's hard for me. Once I get down, it's hard to get back up again.

I broke down the last couple of days and ate crap!!!! I mean seriously i ate ice cream for breakfast!!! It was early this morning (about 8am.... that is early for me) and I was not thinking and I open the freezer and there it was. a half gallon of cookie-n-cream ice cream.... not it is more like a 1/4 gallon. :(

I fell horrible about it, plus the ice cream headache helped with the guilt. But for my classes today I get to sit next to Kim P, a girl who is a size 1 and is just over the triple digets on the scale. (If she weighs 105 I would be shocked)


I feel so bad!!!! I am so having a salad for dinner!

I finally joined the gym. I'm going for the first time tonight after work. I'm going to take a class called BodyCombat. It's like Tae Bo, but they can't actually call it Tae Bo, unless it's the actually Billy Blanks Program.

Good for joining a gym! Hopefully you'll be more motivated than I am to go to mine--well, it's not that I'm not motivated, it's just not easy to fit in my schedule right now. I really can't wait for it to get warm outside!

Went to my meeting on Saturday. Lost 2.2 pounds. I lost the 1.6 I put on in the previous week and a little more. I'm now down a total of 12 points.

I'm meeting with a personal trainer after work today to go over a an exercise program.

I was a little scared what the scale would say this morning as my points-counting took a flying leap out the window over the weekend (thanks, mom, for sending us a giant, 1-lb box of Valentine's candy that I had to eat most of myself. . .) but I neither gained (nor lost). I was okay with that.

Whoo hoo!!! I reached my first ten lbs this week. Whats bad is we have Mardi Gras next Tuesday so I won't weigh in for two weeks ... I hope I don't let myself go.

I lost 4.5 lbs this week!! I must say that is very exciting and encouraging. I really didn't think I had lost anything.

Learn from your mistakes. How could you have made better choices? Just make sure you move forward and don't look back. journal - journal - journal.

Everybody has a bad week. Shoot...I'm having a bad month :(

couldn't go last week, but this week i lost 1.8 over the past two. which is good, but still haven't fully lost the 2.5 i gained the week before that. but hopefully i'll be able to keep on track and not get discouraged...

For those that haven't, don't worry. You'll lose the weight. Just have to try a bit harder.

Slowly but surely. That's the way it should be done. We all know what happens when you drop the weight too quickly. It all come right back, with a few extra friends.

Down 3.0 this week for a total of 12.2 lbs. I was surprised to see that big of a loss since I didn't follow program at all.

I've been doing WW for about 5 weeks now (no meetings - I don't have the money!) and the first 2 weeks went really well - I lost a total of 9 pounds. However, I haven't lost or gained anything the past 3. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get off this plateau?

I joined!
 
After trying (unsuccessfully) to do WW without going to the meetings, I joined last night! So today is my first day on the system, and I'm contemplating doing the Fast Track for the first week or two. I have to really read it and see if it's for me.

Today will also be my first day at the gym. I'm not excited like I was the first time I did WW and Body for Life. Normally I'm charged up and ready to go. Right now, I'm just blah. But I am determined to do this. I even paid for nine weeks upfront for WW.

So I'll be checking into this thread regularly. I need to take a before picture and put it on my refrigerator or on my bathroom mirror.

I didn't go to my meeting last week. I knew I put on weight and I was too scared to see how much it was.

I haven't been that good this week either. I have food poisoning so I haven't eaten anything today because I can't keep anything down.
I've also been too sick to go to the gym. Hopefully I will be at the gym thursday.
I really need to get back on track.

Good New and Bad News
 
Good News: I went to my meeting and I lost 0.8 of a pound.
:D

Bad News: They are permanently (?) closing our meeting place (it's at a mall that is being renovated) and moving to another location. That also means that the meeting days and times have changed. I don't know whether to continue being in that meeting location after the move or find another location close to home.

Today I am suppose to have had a meeting but since it is Mardi Gras it was cancelled. It sucks that it was cancelled though but maybe a good thing because I went a little crazy this past week with all the parades and everything. Hope everyone else is doing good!!!!

I went to my first meeting this morning. Actually dragged my lazy butt out and about on a Saturday (after a Fri night of drinking no less!) to go to a 9 am meeting before work. I've been before but like a year ago, and I think this flex points business will work well for me. Hopefully I'll be able to see some results and maybe get one of those keychain thingies, I want one bad. I'm like a bird, attracted to bright shiny objects, lol. Anyway, going out to the bars tonight, and a little concerned as to what $15 and 15 points allows me. Not much, which is probably a good thing. I think having people on GC (my internet home away from home) who are on WW will really really really help me too, so look forward to mucho postings from me! I'm crossing my fingers that everyone here can succeed!

I've been off the WW Wagon SO BADLY lately. Mardi Gras and my birthday is always kind of hard.

I don't think I've gained but a pound or two, though. Not bad considering I lost 20 before that.

I'd like to lose another 5-10 lbs before the wedding in May, but I've got to start with dress fittings soon, so I'm going to need to come to a stopping point.

Girl, I feel you. I lost 3.2lbs this week. Good and all, yeah, but I didn't go to the gym. My friend went to the gym 6 times and she lost 5lbs!! She got a bookmark!!!!! Shoot, I wanna bookmark, too! So needless to say, I'll be in the gym this week. Cuz I like stuff like that and I want to get celebrated in the meeting!!! lol

i weigh in tonight. this is exactly how i'm feeling though. i've just been struggling so bad lately and i don't know why. i've been working out, eating pretty healthy, rarely drink, although i have a few lapses every now and then, but doesn't everyone? i just get so frustrated though.
