I am terrible about filling out the brackets too, so I never do it.

Wisconsin won tonight! And UW-Milwaukee almost managed it against Notre Dame . . . that was a tough game to watch.

Is it just me, or have there been a lot of upsets and near-upsets so far? Some of the near-upsets have been with high-ranked teams . . . first with Kansas and now I'm watching Duke. Marquette just barely pulled it off too, I think.

After last night's game i'm leading the GreekChat bracket group on Yahoo! Only by one point (I have 13, a few others have 12), but i'm still proud of myself!

Was a great performance by the Sooners! Price went down with a previous groin injury (I think coach pulled him out to save him for harder games). Bookout, our starting Freshman point guard was out with the Flu. Still won by 20+ points:D

The Wisconsin/Tulsa game just finished . . . god, that was seriously one of the most exciting and amazing finishes to a game I've ever seen. Heartbreaking if you're for Tulsa, of course, but I wasn't, so :D The Badgers went on something like a 14-2 run (I think) to finish the second half and managed to bring the score to 58-60 on their last possession . . . then Freddy Owens hit a wide-open three with less than two seconds left, and after that Tulsa's man stepped on the baseline when trying to inbound the ball. Seriously amazing. I love those guys. Of course, we're going to lose to Kentucky by a LOT in the next round, but I'm proud of us for getting this far.

And the Gonzaga/Arizona finish is going to be great too . . . they're going to overtime.

Gotta love it.

UConn going to the Sweet 16, Gordon and Okafor had very good games today.

I love Arizona probably the best of any team after Wisconsin, but I have to admit I was secretly pulling for Gonzaga to pull off the upset at the end there.

Although I'm still happy that they didn't.

Indiana's looking pretty pathetic today..... 2 points in the last 6 minutes of the first half.

I'm not complaining. It's great to see three teams from our league in the tournament. Butler won, UW-Milwaukee should have beaten Norte Dame(but they made the Irish sweat like crazy:D ) UIC lost in the NIT. But It's a good showing by all three. Now, If Detroit Mercy and CSU(especially if they can get a coach who can actually recruit and bring some serious Top 25 teams to Cleveland) get their act together,The Horizon League will definately make some serious noise.

Gonzaga should have won that game in the first overtime, but overall, It was a great game. I'm hurt that My darkhorse team, Central Michigan, lost to Duke.:(

I'm in a little pool over on Yahoo. After round 1, I'm tied for the lead with 28 points. Yea, me. My LSU Lady Tigers are off to a great start. I tried to stay away on Saturday to watch their first round game, but sleep overcame me. Hopefully, I'll be awake to see some of their 2nd round game tonight.

Despite Vandy, Miss St, and North Carolina losing, I didn't do so bad. I'm currently 2nd in my yahoo pool. 1 point separates me and the leader and 1 point separartes me and 3rd place. Go Me:D

Going to be interesting this weekend. The one I'll be watching is Kansas/Duke. Both have been kind of inconsistant.. I think that I'd give Duke the edge because they're healthier. It's still a tossup though.

first of all, i was raised all my life to hate UK....my dad went to UofL....so when we moved from alabama to LEXINGTON, it was a mess. i HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE UK.....esp. since living there b/c UK fans are the MOST OBNOXIOUS ppl on the planet (no joke, i thought bama fans were bad, but they are nothing compared to wildcat fanatics). when pitino went to UofL, i thought it was the most hilarious thing....although i hated him when he was at UK b/c lex grocery stores sold such goodies as "pitino pasta," so he was always in your face no matter where you went. way to go, louisville, for getting a kick ass coach and cheesie food products. :p so, GO CARDS (i know, i know...:( ), and i need my girl ilovemyglo to show some love for her HOME-TEAM, but ah well. this is obviously your brain on drugs....... ;)
ok, so it basically SUCKS that both of my teams are done...western and louisville. but western COULD HAVE WON if they could throw a friggin FREE THROW. -sigh- grrrrrrr. so, the big question is who do i go for now that my top picks are out? naturally, ANYONE who is playing against UcK!!!!! wahaha! UcK will die out eventually, and when they do....i will be as happy as a fat kid eating cake!
