Our book club discussed this book this past week. Although I have not finished, I will because it was interesting and enlightening. I think the parts that made me bothered was where the author infused his life history with life of the elite. I like reading anythnig that gives me a history lesson and while I have never lived this lifestyle, I find aspects of it interesting but I appreciate my life, past and present because it has shaped me into the person I am today.

I stopped reading "For the Love of Money". I was very disappointed in it.
I liked "God Don't Like Ugly". I'm currently reading "Their Eyes Were Watching God" (it's good). |

Are you a bell hooks fan like me? *lol* I love her and have admired her work for a long time. I read "All About Love" too, and it's actually something that I think both men and women could benefit from reading. |

Jodi Picoult is a great author. I've read My Sister's Keeper and just finished The Pact. They were both so sad, but totally captivating. |
