I actually thought someone hacked dekeguy's account. Didn't expect that coming from dekeguy.

So I honestly don't understand how AXOeva was able to be a member of both AXO and SAO? For I know our National Policy forbids us from joining other SOCIAL Greek Letter organizations. SAO throws socials and events just as other social sororities, we do however require more of our sisters. We have a national non-profit organization Sisters by Grace and our national philanthropy is Ovarian Cancer in alliance with OCNA. Our membership in SAO is lifetime and we are founded first in Christ and second in sisterhood. I don't want to go any longer but more information about our requirements to join SAO is found at our website. Hope this clears everything up some!

If you think NPC sororities don't "require more" of our sisters than socializing, and are only for 4 years, you are woefully uneducated.

I'm curious as to what "more" she's talking about. In context, that comment was followed by a comment about philanthropy. So, when she said "requires more" perhaps she meant that her GLO believes in philanthropy in addition to just being social? If that's the case, then she is misinformed as most all social, general GLOs are heavily involved in philanthropy of some sort. If she meant that they "require more" in terms of Bible study, that's irrelevant as that requirement is specific to her GLO - just as Tau Beta Sigma might "require more" music lessons. If she meant that they "require more" in terms of morals and conservative, religious personal conduct, then I guess she's right. Though, that's not to say that her GLO's values are better than the values that another GLO espouses.

OK, I confess! This week has been one of those drive you bananas weeks and in an effort at sillyness I thought I would play games with my usual line of commentary. Mea culpa, mea culpa I was trying to stir things up to see if I could generate any responses.
Back to my old boring self now.

Don't be boring. :) Just find a more deserving target than Christian GLOs.
