I'll stand on the sideline and holler " Yall need to stop that!"

brickhouse492 05-27-2008 12:31 AM

I'll break up men (if they're my peeps) 'cause they don't hit women breaking up their fights.

Women fighting, ... I minds my busii !! That catwomen crab ain't turnin' on me!

But if u see me in a fight, you better help get her ghetto azz off of me cause I didn't hit her first, I tried to walk away and I'm not getting scratches on my face. Fighting, I'm just so over it.

Personally it would not sit well with my spirit to see a man and a woman fight. So I would have to jump in and pray we both don't get hurt cause I have never fought before.

This post made me think about an incident that happened in my state about two weeks. This woman was inside McDonald's eating when her boyfriend pulled up and asked her, or rather made her go outside. Once he got her outside, he commmnced to beat the hell out of her. A male employee went outside to try and stop the boyfriend from beating her. The boyfriend pulled out a gun and shot him. In these times, it's pretty risky business to stick your nose in other people's business. I guess one would have to just go with the flow and decide from situation to situation whether or not to interfere.

This post made me remember a fight that happened at Krystal about 2 years ago. I was there eating lunch with 2 co-workers when this guy comes in and just starts yelling at his baby mama who worked there. (he was yelling about having his check garnished for child support) Then he jumped over the counter and starts beating her up. The manager was the only one who jumped in to help her and he got beat up worse than the girl. Everyone else just called the police. We weren't touching that one.

My best friends ex boyfriend used to beat on her when they were together. I was so pissed when she told me! But anyway one day I was at her house and they started arguing and he picked her up and threw her on the couch and he lifted his fist up and was about to strike her and I yelled heeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! DO IT AND I GUARANTEE YOU GOING STRAIGHT TO JAIL!!! He just paused for a moment and looked at me and he walked out the door. So after that everytime I would come over he would go in his room or leave the house (he know I hated him...lol)

But I wouldnt attempt to break up a fight if I didnt personally know the people I would just call the cops!

 Wow that is horrible. He was man enough to beat on his woman but not man enough to fight the other guy fist to fist. Wow times have really changed.

A couple nights ago (at like 2am), I heard a woman's crying through the wall of my apartment. It continued to get louder and louder and a man's voice mixed in, also getting louder. I heard thumping/scuffling and then the crying turned to yelling as the man's voice also raised to yelling. I thought it was my neighbor from last year in there and I got scared. I didn't know if I should go knock and ask if she was okay (and that might break up whatever was going on) or if I should just call the cops and let them handle it. Before I could decide, it all stopped and, even though they sounded agitated, there was no more yelling and the woman stopped crying. I went by yesterday to tell my neighbor that I had heard and make sure she was okay, but when I knocked it was a young couple in there. I guess my old neighbor moved out while I was on vacation because I didn't know these people. I'm glad nothing came of it because I had no clue what I was going to do and would've been shocked to intervene and find that I didn't know them!
