Nothing wrong with challenging each other at the undergrad and grad level to put on the tightest programs and fundraisers. Anything more than that is a LAME. I think most of us have participated in some form of LAMEness before but as we get older we recall how LAME it all was and is. I have found, however, that many "chapter (or organizational) beefs" are simply personal beefs that have become chapter-wide. For example, so-and-so took so-and-so's girlfriend in high school or college so they don't like each other. They act out and people from the respective chapters take sides. A decade or more later the chapters hate each other and do things like pick apart each other's pledge processes---but none of the youngins know where the conflict stemmed from. The important thing is to squash the beef and form a bond so that we can help each other. :) |

What a silly theory. When people have nothing to prove they feel completely comfortable being THEMSELVES, whether that be mean/bitter or nice/timid. |

Some of you fools in this thread seem like the only time you were on line is when you logged onto the internet.

I understand what you all are saying, but as you get older, you may see things differently (not always though LOL). I'm just saying, I know some people that have pledged but are just wack people IMO. I'm cool with people because I like them, not for any other reason. |

Any Greek who subscribes to such silly theories is SUSPECT, in my opinion. |
