I'm good today, just about to eat my lunch. Mr. sub small ham and cheese sub. I'm starving now but that's only because I went shopping for an hour on my lunch break and I have been able to eat anything until now.

Yesterday was very good for me. I wasn't hungry at all. But then I had a low so I obviously went over my point, but I'm not too worried about that because I need sugar when I'm low.

I love Weight Watchers! I've been meaning to post on here, I'm going back on it when I go back to school next week. Good luck ladies!

Good luck to all of you WW people! My mom lost 75 lbs in a year on the plan, and she's kept it off for over 2 years now. She doesn't even have to count points anymore because she's learned how much she is supposed to eat in order to maintain her weight. It really works if you make the committment!

I don't do Weight Watchers, but I went to Applebee's the other night and they have a Weight Watchers menu now! It lists the points of all of the meals on that one page of the menu.

I was like, oh, look honey, this is only 4 points! To which he replied "You're not ON Weight Watchers! What do you care!" Good point. But seeing that something is okay for Weight Watchers is makes me feel good about my choice.

I know a lot of people who have had success with it. I've been contemplating joining. If my training for my 3-Day walk for Breast Cancer doesn't get rid of some of this weight, maybe I'll join.

Good luck to all!!
Allison

My mom and I joined the other day. I actually find myself eating more in quantity than I used to. BUT on the flip side I am also eating better. No more candies and chocolate for me. Good luck to everyone!!!

and i just blew my points total tonight.. ggrr.. i've been so bad lately.

must. get. back. on. track.

Sistermadly 01-08-2004 11:44 PM

mu_agd, rather than thinking of it as "bad", try thinking of it as an "unwise choice". Yes, you made an unwise decision, but the thing that WW has taught me is that there is nothing inherently bad about food.

Like it says on my Tools for Living bookmark, "There is always another choice."

Good luck tomorrow!

juniorgrrl 01-09-2004 11:38 AM

heh. I had a "bad" day yesterday too. Mom took me out to lunch at this amazing seafood place and then FI and I were so tired after work we got chinese food. In the interim, it was someone's birthday at work so we had cake.

But on the upside, I only ate 1/2 of each meal. So its not like I totally porked out yesterday.

The easiest way for me to stay on the WW plan is to get the WW meals & eat them for lunch. It's so much more convenient to have it right there for you with the points & portion size.

Hey everyone I just found a guy that has a couple of Excel spreadsheets and a program to calculate points, track meals and weight, and to break down recipes made at home. They are really especially for those that are trying to do the program without going to meetings. If anyone is interested in copies I will send them your way. PM me with an e-mail address. I can also send you the download links.

Edited because I can't spell right

Hi :)

Does your WW leader know you watch your sugar levels? I *think* there is a plan for diabetic WW's just like there is a plan for nursing mommies. Ask your leader. You may have to adjust the plan to fit your needs.

Maybe, I'll let her now when I see her tomorrow. I adjust my own insulin levels anyway and that's what I have been doing since I started

I went to get weighed in this morning....

I lost 3.6 pounds in the first week!!! YAY ME!!!! :D

Didn't have a chance to stay for the meeting because I had a hockey game, but hopefully I will be there for the next one.
