I still can't name a single player on any other tribe except Lisa, Jeff, Penner, & Skupin.
This three team format sucks. Couldn't they have brought back four injured (James!) and put two on each team? |

But boy, what a choice Malcolm and Denise had. Russell's no better than Angie, and his diatribe at TC was embarrassing. To lay into Angie when he couldn't climb the ladder and when he quit too made him look juvenile. He has struggled in just about every challenge, and then he lashes out at everyone else for losing. I really could see good reasons for Malcolm and Denise to go either way with this one. And Hey! Carter can talk! Who knew? |
I can't even concentrate on the episode because the one team is so pathetic. Please, just get rid of them so I can actually see someone else.

Finally watched last week's episode...
I'm not sorry at all to see Russell gone. I feel bad for Malcom and Denise for being a tribe of 2, but I won't miss Russ. I lol'd at Pete setting up RC like he did. Ha! (And Abi really confirmed for me how much I dislike her.) I really wonder what the producers plan to do with the tribe of 2. (Although, based on the previews, there may be a red tribe member going home due to injury/illness, so maybe they won't have to do anything about Matsing yet.) |
Maybe they will divide the tribe of 2 and put one each on the other 2 tribes?

(Who else thought Dawson was going to punch Jeff? The look she had as he snuffed her torch was maniacal! I think Jeff looked scared, too!) |
FWIW, apparently Malcolm is a Theta Delta Chi who played football at Dartmouth. I read that among the things he did to prepare were to read The Art of War and The Prince. He also lost 20 pounds and focused on exercises that would improve balance and flexibility.

I did think his strategy of losing weight and focusing on balance and flexibility was interesting and smart -- the kind of smart I expect to see from a winner. :p |

(I'm still pulling for Denise, though. Malcolm is a close second at this point. I'm hoping they both make it to the merge and take it to the end.) |

I haven't watched last night's episode yet, so I can't comment on what happened.
Our CBS station was showing the UK Blue/White scrimmage game last night, and Survivor was on tape delay. It didn't come on until after Craig Ferguson!! Argh! Evidently, I'm the only one in the state of KY who would rather have seen Survivor, because no one else seems irritated that they sat down to watch a show they DVR'd, just to find that it wasn't on. (Perhaps I'm simply the only one who didn't realize that the Blue/White scrimmage was on. Very real possibility there.) |
