Because I don't actually feel the need to say it to anyone. I just don't see the big difference between that and trailer trash, yet everyone will get offended and self-righteous about one and laugh at the other.

Really? And where would you be living, exactly? There are elitist areas in pretty much every metro Atlanta county (some more than others, admittedly, but they all have their pockets). Perhaps you aren't familiar with the term "East Cobb snob" ...?

conyers.

Under you location it says "Cobb". Is this Cobb County, Georgia? Cause if you live near Atlanta and had any money at all you wouldn't be living there.

Don't want to contradict you, but there's actually a decent amount of money in Cobb County once you get up to Marietta up through Kennesaw. Doesn't quite compete with Buckhead but it's not bad.

I'm not mad at anyone and don't want to call anyone anything. I picked that term as an example because I thought it had a lot in common with trailer-trash (the bad roots and upbringing implication of it) and am trying to point out a double standard.

I know what you're trying to get me to say, I have no need to say it, and further, I don't think that it's a double standard. I don't know of anything equally offensive that you could call me.

I'm sorry, but I can't think of Conyers without thinking of the "lost children of Rockdale County" documentary ... that thing was THE big deal when I was in high school, lol.
