Ty reminds me A LOT of my college boyfriend from South Carolina. Only Ty seems like a nice fella.
|
I'm glad Ty went home tonight - I didn't think he was right for Ali. Now I'm at the Jake and Vienna drama, and I don't know that I can actually watch it. They're both so...just lame.

Wow - i think ABC can just skip through the regular season antics and set up follow up episodes where the real drama can unfold. What a trainwreck the Vienna/Jake situation has become!
My thoughts- Jake is showing us a side that was totally hidden during his season. Where is all of that touchy feely, "I just want a wife and kids and a job flying planes" talk? Vienna is staying true to what we saw. She is young, too young for Jake, immature, spoiled, and needy. We knew all of this about her before the last rose ceremony. How did he miss it? For what it's worth, I feel sorry for Vienna.(am I crazy about her? no) I do think Jake turned out to be focused on something other than their relationship. I am sure the glitz and glitter and fame was fun, at first, for Vienna, but it is pretty clear that Jake is the starring character in his own fame-driven career. She was just something he accumulated along the way. Plus, he really acted like a calculating ass, playing to the audience in that interview. And I do feel her emotions came across as genuine. I never was a big Jake fan, still not an Alli fan either...and yet am glued to the show each week! |

I agree!!! I think Vienna is very immature for Jake. And, I think Jake came across like a passive aggresive fame ho. He really was a bully to her. But, maybe he picked Vienna because maybe he felt he could do what he wanted. I mean, say what you want about Ali, but Ali comapred to Vienna, Ali is much smarter and more mature than Vienna. Jake probably knew he could not be an @$$ to Ali, she would not stand for it. But with Vienna, he realized he probably could and get away with it. |

What's up with these reality show people? Do people think just because they've been in front of the camera on a reality show, that they are a shoe-in for an acting career? Sure, some people are "naturals", but I'd love to see any of these reality "stars" do a cold read or go on an audition. I'm afraid their film would be like anything Paris Hilton has done, or this Anna Nicole Smith train wreck, where she had to be fed lines, sometimes word by word: http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=22991 |

I wasn't a Vienna fan before this week's episode, but I've got to say- I am warming up to her! She came across as genuinely upset and frustrated. Yes, she isn't the most mature- but like others have said, that's probably one reason Jake picked her.
If my husband told me something couldn't fit in our bedroom, I would've pulled out the measuring tape too- or just started shoving furniture around. And if he gave me directions, yes I will also pull out the GPS- just because they make sense to you does not mean they make sense to me! Men (sorry for the over generalization) sometimes are not the best communicators. My husband is a great example- I have no hopes of every learning Portuguese, his native language, from him. When I ask why the pronounciation changes or the word order is one way, he says "I don't know, it just is". Yes- I will go off and look up my own answer so that my curiosity is satisfied! Jake came across like a complete ass. All I heard him say was "Stop interrupting me!" and "Do you see what I have to put up with?" Good luck Vienna with whatever you wind up doing. And Jake, may your acting career be perpetually non-existant. === On an Ali note: Anyone else notice how she seems really confused about the guys & what to do? They started to play it up, but if you watched her face, how she interacted with them, and what she said... Almost seems like they're setting the stage for her not picking anyone. |
Jake's a skank.

Anybody watching?
|
I am, I'm watching After The Final Rose now.
|
I really want to see an all out brawl on here someday, not like Jake and Vienna.. after they've had a real relationship, but between one of the guys who got tossed and the bachelorette..lol. Has that happened?
|
I don't think so but I would love a no holds bar fight.

Love Roberto and figured it was going to be him. I hope (although Ali really got on my nerves a lot!) that this relationship is one that works for quite a while.
I pick Chris for the next Bachelor. And, I admit it, I got teary-eyed when the rainbow appeared. |
Yeah, I felt bad for Chris too. I really do hope he finds someone. I think he deserves it. He really does seem like a great guy.
I hate to be a 'Debbie Downer', but Roberto strikes me as a 'love 'em and leave 'em' kind of guy. I don't know why, but I got that vibe from him. |

Yes, I know what you mean. And it sounds like Ali was afraid of that most of the time. I thought he sounded so grounded when he was talking to her dad - something just seemed more real than the other times I have heard all that stuff. I will keep my fingers crossed! I know it is old-fashioned, but I really, really wish that Ali and Roberto were not moving in together. I like that they are finding a neutral location to start out(San Diego), but it just seems to be a recipe for disaster to move in with someone that you do not know all that well. |
