Buttonz,
How is your business going? I am a Creative Memories consultant, and I love to hear from other women in direct-sales. Sometimes I think I'm just too introverted for this kind of business:o, but overall I like it. One of my sorority sisters recently started selling Scentsy!

Casbah is so pretty, I've seen it in person. A lot of the new warmers are really nice.

I have an unopened Vanilla Suede circle looking for a new home! I tend to like either the clean or the bakery scents, so I have a few vanillas.

My mom sells Longaberger & Lindt/Lindor or whatever it is chocolates.
I really think you have to be outspoken to push things like that, but I also have been to Creative Memories parties back when I was into scrapbooking that were great, and the lady that sold was not nearly as outgoing as my mom. She keeps trying to talk me into selling Lia Sophia jewelry.
I don't like that stuff because it reminds me of a constant fundraiser and I hated those growing up (too many years of selling girl scout cookies & cookie dough for dance class)

I think though, that you will find your happy medium as a consultant for Creative Memories. I mean, yes it's about getting sales, but you're gonna have fun organizing parties for ladies too.
Salons are a killer place to drop business cards, btw. Those ladies are always interested in parties.

I made my first order today! I ordered 6 bars, 6 different scents. She also gave me a little preview of the new spring scents and I fell in LOVE with one (oat and honey? honey and wheat? I can't remember, but I loved it). I'm going to test out the scents in an old warmer that I have now, and then buy a new warmer and 3 more scents when the new ones come out. Yay!

The scents I got to day are You Go Girl, Sweet Pea and Vanilla, Home Sweet Home, Black Raspberry Vanilla, Honey Pear Cider, and Lilacs and Violets (LOVE!). There was another scent that I really liked, but I can't remember the name. It smelled exactly like Love Spell from Victoria's Secret.

I don't think I have anything you'd want or I'd trade you. I use them to get new people hooked :)

Sometimes I feel the same way but at the same time, I've met some amazing people through Scentsy which is great. That plus sorority life has made me more outspoken then I used to be, that's for sure.

It has some similarities to funraisers but not to many. I guess it all depends how you view it. For me, it's knowing I am keeping the money that makes it different.
