Remember in NutBrwHair's thread some members were joking around, and one made a comment that turned her way off, and I was wondering if the members even knew how critical certain comments were in people's memories of the event?

Now, I'm guessing the member in this case was trying to convey something relevant her experience in the group or to her daily life at school, but it must have come across really differently to her PNM.

That was the best decision I ever made to stick with preference night and not wait until the spring. I have been a proud member of ADPi since the fall 2006 semester and I can't wait to have formal rush in the fall!!

After the bids are handed out we each take pictures with our new member class and then rush out of the union to the cheers of our respective sororities and then up into the suite.

And London, my favorite city, was ADPi!! I was so glad to get my first choice!!

Great story! I'm becoming addicted to these retro-recruitment threads. I don't remember enough details from two years ago to do my own (short term memory loss at the age of 21...) so I'm living vicariously through all of you. Thanks for sharing! :)
