i think you were right in taking what is yours... she has no respect for anything of yours if she is drinking in bidday/alpha retreat/whatever shirts.

I'm sure she has a closet full of shirts of her own and a cupboard full of cups to take to work. It's really funny (to me anyway) that she said she hates sororities but tries so hard to look like she was in one.

i'm really glad you called the proper authorities... hopefully she will move out and you can concentrate on your school stuff.

To be fair, there's a decent amount of psychos in sororities, too. Sounds like she suffers from poor self-esteem and she gets an ego boost of looking like she is in a sorority and knowngly drinking in your letters. I hope she'll move out, but regardless, all future roommates need to know in advance that you look forward to being roommates, but using/wearing your sorority things are strictly offlimits. Be clear so there is no question on where you stand.

She sounds like a freak. You should go in her room and take the photos off her dresser and put them on yours. She can ask why you did that and you can say, "Well, I don't want to be in your family. I just want to look like I am..."

Roommate conflicts will occur for the rest of your life. Take the time now to learn to be assertive, b/c this silliness doesn't end when you graduate, have professionals as roommates or even a husband and kids as roommates. Take a stand and lay down rules.
