Ditto on the being careful about getting ripped off. Look out for pickpockets, as they are *really* good there. At a restaurant I went to I met two australian girls who got their wallets stolen out of their purses the day before on the metro, and the guys did it so fast no one noticed until they were getting off the next stop and the girls went to get something out of their purses which had been closed but were then open. Beware also of shadeball people at the train station who come up to you and try to get you rooms in hotels. Some are ok, but others are scary.
I liked Prague, and would go back, but I would make an effort to learn some of the language. I went to a restaurant with my traveling partner and this other guy we met on the train. They doubled our bill and then conveniently forgot how to speak English - which they had been speaking with us before, so we had to pay like 30 bucks instead of 15. Granted it wasn't a huge expense, but the principal of it irritated me.
If you get a chance to head up to Vienna while you are over there, do. Vienna is amazing...and the sachertorte is to die for. Pretty much all of Austria is really nice.
