Love for Enemies

27 "But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you.28 Bless those who curse you. Where did Jesus say to quote the gospel? (And by "gospel" I'm not sure what we're referring to.)

Well, considering the gospel was, as yet, unwritten during Jesus' life (and for at least another 30-100 years after that, depending on the book) I believe that Jesus didn't say a word about quoting the gospel. Either way.

I'm certainly not saying that it is WRONG to quote a gospel, but only quoting it is not a lesson. And if anything it is Mark or Luke passing the lesson on.

I can pick up a Bible, but when I come to GC for my high quality religious education, I want my HIGH QUALITY! :p
