I guess she finally got settled down.

Settled down?! This woman obviously needed more than most people just to grow up! I'm glad you finally got your things, though, Sandy!

Has anyone ever used amazon.com? I just ordered the My So-Called Life DVDs for $65 (they're selling for upwards of $200 on eBay because they were discontinued). They're from a company called caiman.com, and the invoice stated that they would be shipped in 2 business days and would be at my house within 2 weeks. It's been a week, and I emailed them saying they hadn't been shipped, and I got a form email back saying "We are trying to locate this item." Should I be worried? I've never used amazon.com, but I had heard it was great so I trusted it.

Amazon's good, it's pretty easy to get a refund through them if the seller screws you. I think they're more fair than ebay to both the buyer and seller. As a buyer, I had a book that never came (a textbook)- the seller was good about trying to figure it out and issued me a refund, but I had looked up everything and knew that I would've been able to get a refund through Amazon (since you pay through them!). And as a seller, someone tried to say that I never sent their book... but they didn't contact me or Amazon until about 2 months after the sale! Amazon said sorry, buddy, but you waited to freakin long.
