THANK YOU MARLINS!

I could really care less who won, but the Yankees lost.

I'll co-sign on that.:) I'm glad the Yankees lost.

I wish that the Yankees had won. Oh well, maybe next year. :D

Oh, I totally see your point. I mean, they had to go extra innings in Game 7 to beat the Red Sox. It just seems kinda frivolous to cry over one series, when they know they'll win or get close to it next year.
Can you go back to Florida? That message is conveyed on behalf of every frigging NY'er.

I wouldn't mind that. His name was mentioned as a replacement to Pat Gillick except for the fact that he still had a year left. The M's open job might cause George to retain him since I know he loves messing with the other teams.

the greatest feeling in the world is to see a 5989492 billion dollar team get jacked by a bunch of kids in the series.

That would be good - I'd rather he keep Cashman for the wrong reasons than let him go. I just feel like it will start a domino effect.

The main thing I'm looking out for is if Mel stays as the pitching coach. He's close to Pettite, and I think one future is tied to the other.
