There this commercial that takes place at a swim meet. The voice over guy is talking about little Sally and how her team didn't win a single meet all day. Came in last in every event . But little Sally didn't care she had the courage to finish or something like that. Then they cut to little Sally just swimming her little hurt out and everybody starts cheering her on. She's the only on left in the pool and everybody is cheering her on. So she finishes the race and everybody is so excited jummping up and down. Mom and dad give her kisses and hugs. Then at the end of the commercial, you see Sally and her teams walking from the pool with their medals. Little Sally can be seen walking with braces.

It chokes me up everytime.

OMG! when i saw the thread's title, this is the first commercial that came to my head!! publix has awesome commercials. i love the summer one when the guy is spending all that time blowing up the children's water floats at the family picnic. when he is finally done, all of the food is gone. he gets sad and the a little boy taps on him and he is carrying a plate full of food. it made my eyes well up!!!

There's one commercial for Friendly's where this little boy's dad is visiting his class at school. There's a wall of pictures of what they want to be when they grow up, and this little boy drew a picture of his dad. It's so cute, especially the look on the dad's face.

And man, just reading the stories from the other commercials in this thread is making me tear up! I'm such a dork...
